How to choose your diamond?

Diamonds are often referred as “timeless stones”. These emblems of elegance are and always have been the ultimate representation of style, luxury and wealth.
At Ori Amore, we want to provide you with all the information you need to make the best decision and chose the perfect stone for you.

Our aim is to make our customers happy and gain their complete trust in our company and products. This being our main objective, we are offering you the typical diamonds 4C’s and adding our own 3C’s.  CUSTOMER SERVICE, CONFLICT-FREE AND CERTIFICATION.
We also offer our cutting and polishing of diamonds to accomplish your specific needs and requirements.

Our diamonds are among world’s finest in cut, color and clarity.

There are four factors to consider:

The Cut

The Cut determines the brilliance of the diamond. The precise position, angle and the shape of the facets help the stone better reflect the light by making it brighter and shinier.
At Ori Amore we offer diamonds only ranked as, Excellent Cut.

The Cut determines the brilliance of the diamond. The precise position, angle and the shape of the facets help the stone better reflect the light by making it brighter and shinier.

At Ori Amore we offer diamonds only ranked as Good, Very Good and Excellent Cut.

  • A Good Cut reflects most of the light tat enters through the top of the stone.
  • A Very Good Cut represent nearly the same amount of light
  • An Excellent Cut reflects the all the light thus makes the diamond the shiniest.

All these cuts are available in all shapes.

The Color

Diamond color is a critical factor influencing the overall quality and rarity of a white diamond. In its natural state, most white diamonds exhibit a subtle tint of yellow. The quest for a truly "colorless" diamond is what makes it a rare and sought-after gem. To assess diamond color, industry experts use a standardized grading system, comparing each stone to a master set. The grading scale ranges from "D" for colorless diamonds to "Z" for those with a light yellow hue. The closer a diamond is to the colorless end of the scale, the more valuable and exceptional it is considered within the industry.

At Oriamore, we adhere to the highest standards in diamond grading, following the rigorous color grading system established by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

We exclusively work with Lab Diamonds in stunning

D-E-F colors, offering brilliance and environmental consciousness. For our Natural Diamonds, we maintain the highest standards, with colors ranging from G and above.

  • D-E-F Colourless
  • G-H near Colourless
  • I-J slight traces of colour.

The Clarity

Clarity of a diamond refers to a diamond clearness or purity. When these flaws/marks occur internally, they are called
inclusions and the most common types of inclusions include Crystals, Tiny Bubbles representing small minerals that were absorbed into the diamond while it was growing.  On the contrary, when these flaws/marks occur on the surface, they are known as blemishes and the most common types of blemishes include Polish lines, Naturals, Scratches, Nicks, Pits, transparent stress lines that appear on a diamond surface, surface graining, and extra facets, that are usually cut to remove a near-surface inclusion to raise the clarity grade of a stone. Most
diamonds have these imperfections in them.  Although many of these flaws are not visible to the naked eye, but under magnification, tiny
featherlike shapes, crystals, bubbles and dark flecks become noticeable. These slight flaws make every diamond quite unique but they also do affect the beauty and value of the diamond.  Diamond clarity is based on the number, size, nature, and location of imperfections on the finished
stone. Diamond with higher clarity is more valuable in comparison to diamond that contains numerous inclusions because it is less brilliant
due to inclusions interfering with light passing through it.

Perfection is our promise. Every diamond undergoes meticulous scrutiny to ensure it meets our exacting quality standards. We take pride in offering you diamonds that are not just exquisite but also a testament
to our commitment to perfection. Choose confidence, choose quality, choose OriAmore. View Our Collection.

The Carat

Carat is a simple measurement of weight.  There are
five carats in a gram; each is broken into smaller units of measurements called points. The easiest way for you to think of points is the same way you think of percentages.  25 is a ¼ carat, 50 is a ½ carat, and 75 is a ¾ carat and so on.Diamond price will increase with diamond carat weight, because larger diamonds are very rare and more desirable. But two diamonds of equal carat weight can have very different values and prices depending on three other factors of the diamond 4C’s:  Clarity, Color and Cut.

In the world of diamonds, carat weight is a significant factor influencing price; larger diamonds are rarer and more desirable. However, the value and price of two diamonds with equal carat weight can differ significantly due to Color, Clarity, and Cut—the other crucial factors of the diamond 4Cs.

Now that you understand the importance of carat, it's vital to remember that a diamond's overall value is derived from the harmonious combination of all 4Cs. At Oriamore, we take pride in bringing you the largest stones with the best value. Our commitment is not just to carat weight but to the meticulous balance of Color, Clarity, Cut, and Carat, ensuring that each diamond is an exceptional representation of rarity and beauty.
